Ова е воодушевувачката приказна за легендарниот Жак Мајол, кој во 1976 година прв ќе ја достигне длабочината од 100 метри со слободно нуркање. Ретки архивски исечоци и неверојатни современи подводни снимки ни го доближуваат животот на човекот-делфин, кој е главната инспирација и за „Големото синило“ на Лик Бесон.

“Imagine now being a dolphin. Free to live according to your needs. There is a dolphin dormant in all of us”, said the man who pushed the limits of the human body and mind but not for the sake of setting records but for the freedom that rises deep below the surface where the blue is no longer blue, where the sky and one’s feelings turn into memories, where silence is complete and time nonexistent.
This is the breathtaking story about the legendary Jacque Mayol who became in 1976 the first free diver to descend to 100 meters. Rare archive footage and stunning contemporary underwater photography bring closer the life of the Dolphin Man, who also inspired Luc Besson’s “The Big Blue”.
Who would say that going down below the surface, leaving behind everything and everyone we know, would bring us closer to ourselves and to the sea where we originally came from? Who would think that peacefulness is possible when the supply of oxygen is limited? Who could possibly comprehend that holding breath can make us feel free?
